Summary of Professional experience

  • 35 years of professional tax experience
  • Extensive knowledge providing tax planning and preparation services,  retirement planning, consultation, and wealth management for both individual and business clientele.
  • CTEC Tax Preparer license.

I began my professional experience at CPA firms in Whittier, CA and the Inland Empire performing tax and audit work for various individuals and businesses.   I also worked in the private sector as an Accounting Director for a local engineering/survey firm. In 1988, I formed Inland Valley Accounting with the goal of offering both tax and financial services to clients.

A native of California, I attended Whittier College where I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Accounting in 1984.  Pursuing financial services, I received my MBA in Finance from Cal State San Bernardino in 1993. I have taught tax and finance courses both locally and in Europe. I have worked in the financial services industry for over 35 years.  I am currently enrolled at UC Davis pursuing a degree in Viticulture and Enology;  I also have extensive experience in the culinary arts gained from education throughout the world.

Currently, I reside with my husband in Riverside County, CA.  We have five children and four grandchildren.  Other than spending time with family and friends,  I enjoy traveling, culinary arts, gardening, wine education, yoga, pilates, kayaking, hiking and other outdoor activities.
